This is the name of ZLG's Minecraft Bedrock realm. Its primary hub is a town called New Bloxus, named after a deserted town found north of it, located next to a Nether portal. It's a portmanteau of "block" and "nexus", serving as the central hub of the realm.
ZLG built a base at the center of this town at the beginning, and a rail to Old Bloxus, so the zombified villagers can be saved and brought to a new, safer town.
Somewhere along the way, brave souls joined ZLG in building a fun world to play Minecraft in:
As of 2022-04-25, all Survival content has been played on the Realm, so all that's truly left are building projects and refinement of existing infrastructure. There's nothing wrong with that, of course!
Creative Mode is used for specific structures or realm-wide improvement initiatives. Resource gathering is prohibited in Creative, meaning NO looting of chests or other item acquisition without having gotten there legitimately in Survival. Scouting challenging areas before taking them on in Survival is acceptable.
Otherwise, Survival is assumed to be the default mode, and is the preferred mode unless you're testing or building something to improve life in Survival, like the railway system.
The initial railway created between Old and New Bloxus was done by ZLG, in Survival, and honestly it's fucking boring to build like that. Survival should be about surviving and smart resource use. Building projects like a railway are rote resource gathering *and* use, so the only difference between Survival and Creative in said projects is the amount of time taken to complete them. Such chores should be kept to a minimum when building something like architecture.
Ultimately the goal here is fun, but Bloxxy Moxxy will never default to Creative. Survival is a core part of the game's fun and challenge.
This space is meant mostly for areas that are still under development and/or aren't connected to the Bloxus rail network yet.

The tilde (~) is used to denote a placeholder Y value. Any elevation over 60 or so will usually do.
The first known screenshot of Bloxxy Moxxy is taken, on 2021-08-02. It is of the ravine just outside of what would later be known as New Bloxus.
In this time, ZLG started a base in a relatively clear part of plains, with water nearby:
Bloxxy Moxxy gained its first member during this time: KatEmy84, who began building a base near the ravine.
By this point, ZLG's base was established and a small farm was setup. ZLG set out to explore, coming across a Nether portal just north of what would become New Bloxus.
ZLG explored more, until he found a run-down town next to a Nether portal. It was decided then, that ZLG had discovered the first real lore of the world:
ZLG deduced that, whoever lived in this village once upon a time, became overwhelmed by an enemy so great, they sought to flee into the Nether, a place so dangerous and foul that only the bravest dare enter. Given that there is no trace of these people left behind in the Nether, or near the portal ZLG found near his base, one can only conclude that all that's left of Old Bloxus are zombies.
Next, ZLG decided to setup a small outpost at this portal, and build a rail going from it to the location near his base. ZLG vowed to rescue those distant zombies, and give them a place to work and live in peace.
This was the birth of New Bloxus. In the coming months, ZLG would slowly build a residential area, enough to house 8 homes. The exploration continues…
This is the point where Bloxus began taking off. Elomeno and AGamerzGirl join the realm during this month, and building projects begin as we decided to play Creative until we have some fun projects built. During this time, both ZLG and Elomeno would spend time in Survival to continue building their characters and their storage legitimately, and Creative time was spent making Survival easier to work with.
During their travels, Elomeno and ZLG found an awesome hole in the middle of a tundra:
This would later become the Underground Base.
ZLG wanted to make a run to the Badlands again, so on his journey, he found some cool stuff.
Eventually ZLG came back, and began building a spiral staircase in the Underground Base:
By this point, Elomeno had built a base in the Underground Base with ZLG, and put together a house for himself in New Bloxus's residential district.
Note that the Transit Hub and ZLG's fortress hadn't been fully built yet. In the wall, you can see the entrance to ZLG's old base, which formed the foundation of New Bloxus.
Later in the month, ZLG and Elomeno made a trip together to the Badlands, so they could put together a rail system to connect all of the major points of interest. After building out so much railing and researching the different ways to manage minecarts, Elomeno seemed to be the one who should manage it, so ZLG left it to him.
Things started getting flashy! Tamagomaki also joins the realm!
AGamerzGirl found a fun Nether Sword Portal build, which she used to make this:
Do you see the minecart experiment in these pictures?
ZLG and Elomeno helped with the Nether side, since it needed to integrate into the tunnel system ZLG built in the Nether, connecting every major location in Bloxxy Moxxy.
The next major project was Rainbow Road, built mostly by ZLG, with Elomeno's assistance in optimization. It's based on Rainbow Road from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, ZLG's favorite in the series.
ZLG began work on the flying Fortress, including the rocky underside. After he finished with the main tower of the fortress, ZLG didn't know what to put on the top. So, like any other reasonable person, we installed USB 3.0, because we aren't barbarians.
Next, ZLG moved his supplies from the old base to the fortress, then tore down the base for resources and filled it in.
Rumor says brave adventurers may visit the depths under New Bloxus and find a note, or even treasure!
Thus far, New Bloxus looks pretty decent:
Soon after, Elomeno and ZLG went on an expedition to some distant Dripstone Caverns that Elomeno found.
The two got back to Bloxus and began working on other things.
A rear view of New Bloxus. Pictured are KatEmy's heart house, the Transit Hub, AGamerzGirl's base, and the Rainbow Spirarailevator™. Patent pending.
KatEmy's heart house is actually shaped like a heart. Pretty awesome.
Tamagomaki built herself a treehouse in the residential district, as did AGamerzGirl.

AGamerzGirl's house on Blargh Lane
Now most of us have a house on Blargh Lane!
ZLG's next project was a lab to experiment with redstone in. For lack of a better name, RedStone Labs seemed apropos. So he and Elomeno got to work.
In the beginning, it was just built into the side of the cave, next to ZLG's underground base.
The main structure is built, and we have kind of a sidewalk.
Next, we switched to use lights that we'll later program, and made it a little taller, so it can accomodate large builds.
The inside, lookin' super clean and ready for building!
Soon after, KatEmy84 wanted to build herself a castle just outside of Bloxus. ZLG helped her out.
In the latest episode of Bloxxy Moxxy, ZLG and Elomeno did a number of things in just a few days!
They went to Old Bloxus so they could cart villagers back to New Bloxus, only to find there was a single zombie villager left! Thankfully, a few more zombie villagers showed up, and they were converted. They put together a camp for them to breed, then hired a Cleric for the new Trading Hall of New Bloxus! He sold Ender Pearls, which made it simpler to put together Eyes of Ender to locate the End Portal!
It took a while, but ZLG and Elomeno made their trek northeast, to a distant village they hadn't discovered yet. They were passing through, when an Eye of Ender centered in on a tree in the middle of town. The two wasted no time digging downward, sweeping and securing the Stronghold, diving into the End Portal, and slaying the Ender Dragon! Huzzah!
Shortly after, ZLG went into the End alone, to seek out an End Ship and End City, for the amazing loot! Sadly, he died a few times, losing his precious 42 experience levels! Oh well. In the end, ZLG secured enough Shulker Shells for the other players to have a Shulker Box each, and enough Eyes of Ender to make Ender Chests for everyone.
This marks the end of the primary Survival content for this Realm. There are still other structures that we haven't taken on yet – like an Ocean Monument or a Woodland Mansion – but for the most part, the "game" part is finished.
Tamagomaki put together a nice little gazebo to look at, just north of New Bloxus:
And also, a crescent moon fountain:
KatEmy's been hard at work, too, creating her own rendition of Hogwarts, from Harry Potter:
ZLG added a garden maze beneath the fortress, and a scene from a particularly famous game…
Sadly, KatEmy84 departed from the world of Bloxus this month. Bloxus citizens wonder if KatEmy was abducted, or if the meteorite that struck the corner of town caused them to leave. There is empty ground where KatEmy's buildings used to be now, showing some sort of advanced time travel by whatever happened. Only time will tell if KatEmy ever returns to Bloxus.
Due to a lack of playing, and of disposable cash, the realm was shut down. A backup of the world exists in my storage, so we'll be able to play here again through other means, or be able to upload the world to a new realm, anytime. Our history is not lost. :)
