To avoid having to farm bugs, you can drop a Bug away from a soil patch and use two bottles to capture two of the Bugs, effectively duplicating the original Bug. This works in the original, too. To avoid having to farm bugs, you can drop a Bug away from a soil patch and use two bottles to capture two of the Bugs, effectively duplicating the original Bug. -===== Getting the Scarecrow Golden Skulltula token in Dodongo's Cavern early is more difficult =====+===== Certain tricks are different or more difficult =====

-In the 3DS version of OoT, Armos Statues are taller than Link can backflip (or the geometry has better collision detection), so you have to Bomb Jump to get on top of it. Additionally, you cannot use the "push 2 ticks away from wall, then jump" trick to get up to the ledge. You need to come back with the Boomerang and aim it just right so it will catch the token and bring it back to you.+Here are a few tricks in OoT3D that are different and/or harder to do than the original.

Keeping in line with more recent Zeldas, OoT3D's Link will look at objects that he can interact with when he gets close enough to them. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it's a nice touch. Keeping in line with more recent Zeldas, OoT3D's Link will look at objects that he can interact with when he gets close enough to them.  +===== Extra Mode: Boss Battle =====
 +
+If you go back to Link's house and sleep in his bed, you'll have the opportunity to re-fight past bosses. Once you finish the game and beat all the bosses in this mode, you can play through Boss Rush Mode, which is a gauntlet of every boss in the game!
 +
+===== Extra Mode: Master Quest =====
 +
+This is the fabled Ura Zelda, originally released on the N64DD in Japan, and on The Wind Waker pre-order disc in NA. OoT3D is the first time it's found in a normal retail copy.
 +
+There are some differences from the original MQ, though: the entire game world is horizontally mirrored and you take twice as much damage as normal. Link is right-handed, right turns are now left turns, and so on.
